Listening to Northrup speak is a joy in itself as the author and speaker is incredibly intelligent, well-informed on her subject matter, full of interesting facts and just plain witty. Northrup will say outrageous comments and poignant ones in this Audio CD that will enlighten your understanding of how we can actively participate in joy or shrink its worth.

In The Power Of Joy, Northrup gives a ten-step prescription for creating joy in your own life. This CD is full of valuable information on how to transform even your everyday language to provide room for joy in your life. Northrup explains how we use pain to explain joy in our conversations. Sayings like, “it was to die for”, “you’re having too much fun”, “I’m dying to see you,” are ways in which we deny ourselves the actual experience of joy. Northrup also provides pearls of wisdom like “joy creates success, success does not create joy!” and has little catch phrases that are easy to remember and make yourself more cognitive, such as the word EGO meaning “Everything is Good on the Outside” to Northrup, which makes a lot of sense.
